what penny? i don't know about any change.
well, i googled it and i guess you're right but i haven't seen any new pennies. daddy says he knew about it but hasn't seen any either.
When did they do that? I've only been here a month, they can't have done that much!
abby's friend just came to visit her and she was showing us the new penny. its got like lincoln's house on the back i think. i dunno when they did it, but i dont feel like they should be allowed to just change the penny!
They changed the penny?
I always felt like it would be such a dishonor to be on the penny and I always felt bad for Mr. Lincoln. I mean, who wants to be worth a single cent? Then my dad explained it to me: It's actually a high honor because they're so popular, so many people get to see it. Being on a bigger bill is actually less of an honor because they're more rare.
Just something to ponder. I guess. :-)
